What items can you dispose of?

We can collect most household items, including furniture, appliances, mattresses, electronics, boxes and general household belongings.

Are there any items you cannot take?

Yes. Certain hazardous, restricted or specialist items may require separate handling. Tell us what you have when requesting your quote and we’ll confirm what we can collect.

Can you dispose of refrigerators and washing machines?

Yes, but appliances such as refrigerators, washing machines, TVs and air conditioners may require special recycling procedures in Japan. Please send us a picture of the manufacturing sticker that’s on the machine.

Can you dispose of a mattress?

Yes. Please tell us the mattress size and whether it is a spring or memory-foam mattress, as disposal requirements and pricing can differ.

How is the disposal price calculated?

Pricing depends on the type, size and quantity of items, collection location, access conditions and any special disposal or recycling requirements.

Can I get an instant quote online?

Yes. Enter the details of the items you’d like removed into our online quote system to receive your estimate once we are happy with everything we will then approve your booking.

Do I need to send photos of my items?

Photos aren’t always required, but they can help us confirm the items and provide an accurate quote, particularly for appliances, unusual, or oversized items.

Do I need to take furniture apart before collection?

Usually not. Our team can dismantle furniture when necessary for removal, although particularly complicated items may require additional time or charges.

Will you carry the items out of my apartment?

Yes. Our service includes loading and removal from your property, subject to the information provided when booking.

If I bring the items to the 1st floor, will this save on the cost?

Yes. If your items are ready for collection on the 1st floor, this can reduce the collection time and may lower the cost, particularly if your property has stairs or difficult access. If you plan to have everything ready for collection on the 1st floor, be sure to select “1F” on the TCM Smart Estimate.
